Foodbank Queensland is the state’s largest hunger relief organisation, working towards a Queensland without hunger. Each week they support more than 135,000 Queenslanders experiencing food insecurity and provide breakfast to 52,000 children every school week through their network of community partners and schools.
Alongside food relief, Foodbank rescues surplus food that would otherwise go to waste, reducing landfill and protecting the environment. Foodbank is focused on long-term change, partnering with communities to build fairer, more resilient local food systems. Each year, we provide 12.7 million kilograms of food and groceries, which is the equivalent of 22 million meals and 1.1 million breakfasts.
As Foodbank continue to grow their impact across the state, they are seeking a strategic and purpose-driven Chief Financial Officer to join their Senior Leadership Team and help guide the organisation’s long-term financial sustainability.

As a trusted strategic partner to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team, the CFO will provide financial insight to support organisational growth, funding opportunities and effective program delivery, ensuring Foodbank Queensland has the financial capability and systems required to meet increasing demand for its services across the state.
